u might want to check with your state’s DMV ,in my home state I have to pay for a renewal an an annual basis for all the trailers that i own and use

Like a car, it’s probably a year and like a car, it’s not just the sticker, but you legally need to have the registration paper itself.
Generally, registration is handled through the country courthouse. Trailers are usually handled by the department of motor vehicles. The boats on them are often handled by the country recorder’s office.
Give them a call before you show up to see what documentation you may or may not need to get things up to date. It’s likely you’ll have to pay all back registration fees as well as a small penalty.
