I have a Karavan double axle boat trailer with a 4-pin electrical hook-up to the car. It needs to be shipped to Europe and I need to know what modifications I would need to make to the trailer (especially to be able to connect to the european car for signal lights) in order to use it on teh European roads. Are there any easy fixes?

Actually there is a converter box, that you should be able to get from any trailer or RV dealer. You might find it interesting to know that Cars and Vans from Europe actually end up in the USA, and are used to pull boats. So, some bright person figured out that the lights were different, thus: a converter box. Reese makes one for $39 USD….. Good Luck!
